A square European lantern in coffee gold, its frosted glass glowing soft and uniform on garden pillars and villa entrances.
We chose this light for its retro European poise. A minimal square silhouette in die-cast aluminium is finished in a warm coffee gold, and the frosted glass shade turns the bulb into an even, glare-free glow. Five widths, from 20.1 cm to 50 cm, let it be scaled to anything from a slim garden post to a substantial entrance pillar. Specify the hardwired model with warm light, or the solar model with three colour modes; sets of up to eight are available.
Frosted glass diffuses the light source fully, so the lantern reads as a soft glowing cube rather than a bright point, ideal at eye level beside gates and paths. The hardwired model gives warm light, the tone we recommend for gardens and facades; the solar model can switch between warm, neutral and white. IP54 protects against dust and splashing water. The solar version needs good direct sun through the day, and the hardwired version must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a licensed electrician. Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid chemical cleaners on metal finishes and fabric shades.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|

| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
