A sculpted resin angel in gold, holding aloft a crystal glass shade that scatters warm light across entries, mirrors and feature walls.
We chose this sconce for its theatre. The resin angel is finely detailed in a European sculptural tradition, and the crystal glass shade within its electroplated frame refracts the light into a warm, glittering glow. The angel's head can face left or right, so pairs can be mounted to mirror each other either side of a mirror, fireplace or doorway. It is sold singly or in sets for grander schemes.
At 12W and 3000K warm white, each sconce lights roughly 5 to 10 m² with a golden, flattering glow, and the crystal adds sparkle. Order one left-facing and one right-facing angel to frame a mirror or console symmetrically. It is for indoor use only, and any fixed wiring must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
