An acorn rendered in painted metal and capped with warm timber: a soft, organic silhouette that brings residential warmth to the kitchen and dining room.
We chose this pendant for the way it softens a room. The rounded shade narrows gently to a natural wood top, so the fitting holds its shape even switched off, and the contrast of smooth zinc alloy and grained timber feels warmer and more domestic than an all-metal pendant. The 32 cm size works beautifully repeated in twos or threes along a kitchen island; the 47 cm size carries a dining table or breakfast area on its own. Seven finishes run from understated black, white and grey to pink, blue, green and yellow.
Because the shade is opaque, light is directed downwards in a defined pool onto the table or benchtop, which is exactly what an island or dining pendant should do. A warm white (2700–3000K) globe flatters timber and food; stay within the 40W maximum. Hang the base of the shade around 75–85 cm above the surface. The fitting is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor locations only, and as a hardwired fitting it must be installed by a licensed electrician.
The 32 cm version has a compact visual footprint and suits repeated installations, such as two or three pendants along a kitchen island or dining surface. The 47 cm version has far more individual presence and suits a single pendant above a dining table, breakfast table or open area. The suspension can be shortened during installation to suit the ceiling height and furniture beneath.

Assessed by the Lumiro lighting studio for its materials, its craftsmanship and the quality of its light.
A rounded zinc alloy shade narrowing to a natural wood cap gives kitchens and dining rooms a softer, more residential form.
From black, white and grey to pink, blue, green and yellow, the painted shade can recede quietly or become the room's accent.
Choose 32 cm for a repeated row along an island or 47 cm to anchor a dining table, on a 150 cm adjustable cord.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
