A rounded glass globe on a classic chain, in brass or bronze: timeless, quietly elegant and endlessly adaptable.
Some forms never date, and the chain-hung globe is one of them. A rounded glass shade hangs from a coordinating steel chain, a refined focal point that never overwhelms. Clear glass gives an open, luminous look; milk glass a softer, diffused glow. Three sizes, two finishes and vaulted-ceiling compatibility let it work over kitchen islands, dining tables, entryways, bedrooms and living spaces.
Milk glass is the choice where the globe hangs at eye level, such as in entries and stairwells, because it hides the bulb entirely and glows evenly. Clear glass suits a decorative filament LED in 2700K for sparkle over an island. Keep to a maximum of 60W. The pendant is hardwired and must be installed by a licensed electrician.
Allow for minor variations in measurements due to the manufacturing process.

Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a licensed electrician. Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid chemical cleaners on metal finishes and fabric shades.

Choose clear glass for an open, luminous look or milk glass for a soft, even glow that hides the bulb.
Three globes from 25 to 41 cm in brass or bronze, with a 198 cm cord suited to vaulted and sloped ceilings.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
