A crisp metal bar of individually aimed spotlights — light placed exactly where you want it, on artwork, architecture or the table below.
We chose this fixture for its precision. Each head can be positioned independently, so one ceiling point can wash a painting, graze a textured wall and light a dining table at the same time. The slim 12 cm base and 9 cm profile keep it neat on the ceiling, while the black or gold metal finish gives it a confident, gallery-like presence in living rooms, dining areas, balconies and corridors. Configurations from a single head to a 110 cm five-light bar suit everything from a niche to an open-plan room.
Directional spotlights are the specialist's tool for layered lighting: aim them at 30° or so onto artwork to avoid reflections and glare, or graze them down a textured wall to reveal its surface. Use them alongside softer ambient light rather than as the only source in a living room. For corridors, angle heads along the length to keep light even. As a hardwired fitting it must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Each head aims independently, so a single fixture can highlight artwork, graze a wall and light the dining table at once.
A 12 cm base and 9 cm profile keep the metal bar neat on the ceiling in black or gold, with a confident architectural look.
Configurations from a 17 cm single spotlight to a 110 cm five-light bar suit niches, corridors and open-plan rooms.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
