Glass with the soft, stone-like glow of alabaster, held close to the wall on a slender brass, black or nickel mount.
We chose this wall light for the quality of its glow. The glass has an alabaster-toned finish that reads like natural stone and diffuses the LED into soft, comfortable ambient light, while the flush mount keeps the fitting close to the wall for a clean, streamlined look. It comes as a single head, about 36 cm tall, or as a two-head version, about 45 cm tall, facing left or right, with brass, black or nickel finishes. It suits bedsides, corridors, feature walls and living rooms.
The alabaster-effect glass softens the LED into a gentle ambient glow rather than a directional beam, so this is a mood and wayfinding light: ideal in pairs beside a bed or mirror, or in a row along a hallway. The two-head left and right versions can be mirrored either side of a bed or doorway. Being flush-mounted, it suits narrow corridors where projecting sconces would be in the way. Install by a licensed electrician.

Assessed by the Lumiro lighting studio for its materials, its craftsmanship and the quality of its light.
Alabaster-effect glass diffuses the LED into a soft, natural-stone glow that flatters bedsides, mirrors and hallways.
A flush mount keeps the fitting streamlined, so it suits narrow corridors where a projecting sconce would intrude.
Choose a single head or a two-head version facing left or right, in brass, black or nickel with white.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
