An elongated glass shade, 80 cm tall, in a choice of six tinted glasses, so the wall carries a column of coloured light.
We chose this piece for what coloured glass does to light. The long glass shade, held in gold or black metal, comes in green, clear, amber, milky white, smoke grey or sky blue, and each tints the dimmable LED differently: amber and green glow like old apothecary glass, smoke grey is moody and architectural, milky white is soft and even. At 80 cm tall it has real presence, making it a strong choice for living room feature walls, tall hallways and either side of a bed.
Because the LED is dimmable, the light can move from a clear, useful level to a low evening glow; pair it with a compatible LED dimmer. Glass colour has a large effect on output: clear and milky white give the most light, while amber, green, smoke grey and sky blue are best treated as atmospheric, decorative light layered with other sources. At 80 cm tall, mount it with the centre roughly at eye level, or higher in double-height spaces. It is hardwired and must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Choose green, clear, amber, milky white, smoke grey or sky blue glass to colour the light from apothecary warm to moody grey.
At 80 cm tall in gold or black metal, it gives living room feature walls and tall hallways a confident vertical accent.
The dimmable LED moves from clear light to a low ambient glow when paired with a compatible LED dimmer.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
