A diamond of acrylic light from which a slim aluminium arm extends: a geometric vanity light that brings focused, glare-free light with sculptural flair.
We chose this piece for the way it turns a practical vanity light into a graphic gesture. The diamond-shaped acrylic base anchors the fixture to the wall, while the aluminium frame extends horizontally above the mirror, delivering focused light for grooming without glare. Finished in gold or black, it comes in three lengths to suit different mirrors, with warm white or cool white light.
Warm white (3000K) gives a relaxed, flattering light for an ensuite used in the evening, while cool white (6000K) offers maximum clarity for makeup and shaving. Choose the 40 cm (11W) length for compact mirrors, 60 cm (14W) for standard basins and 80 cm (17W) for wider vanities. Centre it above the mirror so the focused beam falls evenly across the face. Fixed wiring must be installed by a licensed electrician, who can confirm placement relative to bathroom wet zones.

A diamond-shaped acrylic base and horizontally extending aluminium arm turn a practical vanity light into a graphic, sculptural gesture.
The extended frame directs light down across the face for clear grooming, in warm 3000K or crisp 6000K white.
Choose gold or black in 40, 60 or 80 cm lengths at 11W, 14W or 17W to match the width of the mirror.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
