An exposed bar of acrylic light held forward on two extendable stainless steel rods: a vanity light engineered to put bright, even light exactly in front of the mirror.
We chose this design for its clarity of purpose. The dual rods extend and angle the bar toward the face, while the exposed acrylic bar maximises light output with a clean, modern look. Built-in 2835 LED chips offer three colour temperatures for makeup, grooming and shaving, and the stainless steel structure resists moisture and corrosion. It is offered in black, gold and silver, in three lengths to suit different mirror widths.
Because the bar projects forward on its rods, light falls onto the face rather than down the wall, the most flattering and practical position for a vanity. Choose 3000K for a warm, relaxed evening, 4500K neutral light for accurate makeup, and 6000K cool white for crisp detail when shaving. Select a length close to the mirror width: 40.6 cm for compact mirrors, 61 cm or 80 cm for standard and wide vanities. It is hardwired and must be installed by a licensed electrician, who can confirm placement relative to bathroom wet zones.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
