Matte black metal with brushed gold accents on an adjustable swing arm, delivering task light to a desk or reading chair and folding away when done.
We chose this swing arm light for its versatility. The adjustable arm lets you move from a broad ambient glow to a focused reading beam in a moment, and the matte black finish with brushed gold accents gives it a contemporary industrial edge. It works beside a bed, over an armchair or at a home office desk, in two models with gold or black finishes.
The compact 6 cm shade concentrates light, so a warm-white LED globe of 2700K to 3000K is ideal for reading and evening work without glare. Mount the base so the swung-out shade sits slightly above and behind your shoulder when seated. As a hardwired fitting it must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a licensed electrician. Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid chemical cleaners on metal finishes and fabric shades.

The adjustable swing arm moves from a broad glow to a focused reading beam, then folds neatly back to the wall.
Matte black metal lifted by brushed gold accents gives the light a contemporary edge in lounges, bedrooms and studies.
A 6 cm by 12 cm shade concentrates LED light onto pages and desks, keeping glare out of the room.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |

| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
