Natural marble stacked on a slender antique brass stem, an architectural wall light that recalls the columns of ancient Persepolis.
We chose this sconce for its sculptural lineage. Inspired by the architecture of Persepolis, it arranges rounded stone details along a slender antique brass stem, with an exposed globe bulb as a softer counterpoint. Each stone carries its own veining and tonal depth, and the narrow 11.5 cm projection keeps the piece substantial without intruding into the room. Available short or tall, in black, white or green marble or brown picture jasper, it suits bedsides, hallways and consoles, especially as a balanced pair.
The exposed globe bulb is part of the look, so choose it with care: we recommend a warm 2700K LED globe for a soft ambient effect that keeps the stone and brass detailing visible. The E26/E27 socket accepts LED or Edison-style bulbs up to a maximum of 40W. Rated IP20, it is for indoor use only. Control from a standard wall switch. This is a hardwired fitting and must be installed by a licensed electrician.
As natural stone is used, colour, veining and pattern will vary from piece to piece. These variations are part of the material rather than manufacturing defects.

Rounded natural stone elements stacked along a slender antique brass stem echo the architecture of ancient Persepolis in a vertical composition.
Choose black, white or green marble or brown picture jasper, each piece carrying its own veining, tone and depth.
Heights of 48 cm or 70 cm project only 11.5 cm from the wall, ideal beside a bed, along a hallway or above a console.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
