Yellow, blue and red in iron and aluminium: a telescoping floor lamp with the confident graphic spirit of the Bauhaus.
We chose this lamp for its joyful use of primary colour. An iron body and aluminium shade in yellow, blue and red reach out on a telescopic arm, while transparent cables keep the lines clean. The integrated COB LED gives warm, concentrated light for work surfaces or a cosy corner. It comes in two scales: a standard model extending from 117 to 170 cm, and a large model reaching from 157 to 276.9 cm for high ceilings and open-plan spaces.
A COB LED packs its light into a single, even source, so the aluminium shade throws a clean, warm pool onto a desk, dining table or reading chair. Warm light suits living spaces and evenings. Extend the large model over a sofa or table in a double-height room; the standard model suits typical ceilings. The socket is listed as E26 or E27. Select the AU plug for Australian outlets.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
