A precise tube of solid brass in a warm antique finish, a quietly industrial sconce that will deepen in character over the years.
We chose this sconce for its material integrity. Machined from solid brass with a warm antique finish, the tubular form has the weight and quality of a well-made instrument. It directs light in a clean, defined spread that suits kitchens, dining rooms and workspaces, and offers a modern industrial note without heaviness. Two heights are available, 24.5 cm and 26.5 cm.
The tube takes an E12 or E14 globe up to 15W; a small warm-white LED globe of 2700K to 3000K complements the antique brass and keeps heat low. Use pairs either side of a range hood, open shelving or a dining sideboard. IP20 means dry indoor locations only. As a hardwired fitting it must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a licensed electrician. Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid chemical cleaners on metal finishes and fabric shades.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
