Two softly curved brass domes on a clean linear arm: a wall sconce of architectural poise that casts soft, focused light below.
We selected this sconce for its balance and honesty of material. Crafted from solid brass, it develops a unique patina over time, giving the piece a character that deepens with the years. The twin dome shades direct soft, focused light downward, practical for bathroom vanities, bedside walls and hallways, while the linear form and balanced silhouette bring structure to modern interiors. It is offered in brass, vintage brass, black and chrome.
The dome shades focus light downward, so mount it above a vanity mirror to light the basin and face, or beside a bed where it pools light onto a bedside table without glare. The warm 3000K output flatters brass and suits bedrooms and evening bathrooms. At 45.6 cm wide it spans a single mirror or bedhead well, and pairs can flank a larger mirror. Fixed wiring must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Solid brass construction develops a unique patina over time, so the sconce grows richer and more personal with the years.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
