A sculptural spiral of die-cast aluminium that throws light both up and down, turning an exterior wall into a quiet piece of architecture.
We chose this light for its form. The twisting body reads as sculpture on a plain rendered or brick wall by day, and at night the dual-sided LED washes a glow above and below, drawing attention to texture and height. It is finished in high-temperature paint for rust resistance and comes in black, black and gold, white, or white and gold, in sets of up to ten for long facades.
Up-down lights create two scalloped beams on the wall, so spacing matters: on long facades, place them evenly so the beams form a rhythm rather than overlapping. Choose warm white for patios and entertaining areas, white for clearer light at entries. IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets, suiting exposed walls. This is a hardwired fitting and must be installed by a licensed electrician.

A twisting die-cast aluminium body gives exterior walls an artistic accent by day and casts light both up and down after dark.
A 10W LED delivers 700 lumens through a high-transparency PC shade for even illumination of patios, terraces and hallways.
High-temperature painted aluminium resists rust and the IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets on exposed walls.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
