Six metal arms radiate from a close-fitting centre, a mid-century sputnik pared down to sit neatly on the ceiling.
We chose this sputnik for rooms that want mid-century energy without a long drop. Six arms reach out to a 57 cm span, each holding an LED lamp, and the whole fitting sits just 25 cm deep, so it suits standard ceiling heights in living rooms, dining areas and entries. Choose matte black for graphic definition or gold for warmth, with fixed warm light or a triac-dimmable warm version.
The six lamps give a warm 3000K light, the most flattering tone for living and dining rooms. With the triac-dimmable version and a compatible wall dimmer, the output can be lowered for evenings and entertaining. Exposed lamps are part of the sputnik look, so we suggest frosted or opal LED lamps to soften glare if replacing them. This is a mains fitting and must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
