A stack of overlapping metal shades that reads as sculpture from every angle, holding the light within its tiers rather than exposing it.
We chose this pendant for colour and composition. Instead of a single dome, it layers a series of metal shades that partly conceal the bulb, so light plays across the inner surfaces and glows out between the tiers. Twelve colourways range from pure single colours — green, yellow, red, black, blue, grey — to tonal shades of grey, purple, orange, green and blue, plus white with pink. Three diameters share the same 26 cm height, scaling from a compact accent to a confident focal point over a table, island or bedside.
Because the bulb sits within the tiers, glare is well controlled and the light takes on a little of the shade colour as it reflects off the inner surfaces — tonal colourways give the softest gradient. Warm white suits dining and bedrooms; cold white gives a crisper light for kitchens and workspaces. It takes one E27/E26 LED bulb, supplied. As a hardwired fitting it must be installed by a licensed electrician.
The 30 cm version keeps the layered form compact for a lighter footprint; 40 cm offers a more substantial balance for general dining, kitchen and living use; 50 cm gives the broad layered silhouette considerably greater presence as a focal point. The suspension is adjusted during installation to suit ceiling height and furniture.

Overlapping metal shades build a layered silhouette that holds the bulb within, glowing between the tiers rather than glaring outward.
Pure single colours or tonal gradients in grey, purple, orange, green and blue let the pendant become a deliberate colour accent.
Diameters of 30, 40 and 50 cm share a 26 cm body, scaling from a bedside accent to a dining-room focal point.
Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
