A clean architectural wall light in walnut tone and metal, angled to place focused LED light exactly where it is wanted.
We chose this sconce for its warm, architectural restraint. A compact metal body in a walnut colour, finished with brass or silver, carries an adjustable LED head so the light can be directed onto a wall, a doorway or a reading spot, and its hardwired installation leaves no visible cords. At 25.4 by 12.7 by 12.7 cm it suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and entries, and can be ordered singly or as a pair for symmetry either side of a bed or door.
Angle the head downward to wash a wall or light a path through a hallway, or toward a chair for reading. Order the pair option for symmetrical placement beside a bed, mirror or doorway. The specification lists the usage as indoor and no IP rating is given, so for exposed exterior positions such as patios, confirm suitability before installing, or choose a covered location. This is a hardwired fitting and must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a licensed electrician. Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid chemical cleaners on metal finishes and fabric shades.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
