A gold gooseneck rising 64 cm from a copper base, crowned with a soft linen cone that turns light gentle and warm.
We chose this lamp for its blend of flexibility and softness. The gooseneck bends to direct light onto focused work, while the white linen cone shade turns it into a warm, ambient glow for quieter moments. A gold finish over a sturdy copper base gives it a refined presence that suits modern and traditional interiors, on a study desk, home office or bedside.
The linen cone diffuses light softly, making this lamp equally suited to ambient light and gentler task light; bend the gooseneck low over a page for reading. The bulb is included in an E26 base; a warm-white LED replacement is recommended and should not exceed the stated 60W. It is listed with US or AU plug options and a 110–240V input, so select the AU plug for Australian outlets.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
