Blades shaped like banana leaves around a softly lit centre: an antique-style fan lamp with a tropical, botanical spirit.
We chose this fan lamp for its nature-inspired form. ABS blades sculpted like banana leaves give it a relaxed, antique-tropical character, while an all-copper coil and silicon-steel motor runs quietly and steadily with forward and reverse functions for every season. Three-colour dimming is set by remote, and two suspenders, 10 cm and 25 cm, let the drop be tuned to the ceiling. Two sweeps, 107 and 132 cm, suit living rooms, bedrooms, studies, dining rooms and kitchens.
The LED is listed at 24W, or 48W in three-colour mode; dim it to a warm tone for evenings and switch to neutral or cool for brighter light in a kitchen or study. Use the 10 cm suspender for standard ceilings and the 25 cm for higher ones. In winter, run the fan in reverse at low speed to circulate warm air. This is a mains fitting and must be installed by a licensed electrician, with the blades well clear of head height.

Metal, glass and fabric chosen for how they age and how they catch the light — never flimsy, never plasticky.
Thoughtful designs spread light gently and evenly instead of throwing glare — kinder to eyes, faces and surroundings.
Warm colour temperatures bring out the true tones of skin, timber, stone and greenery — the difference you notice every evening.
Whatever you are lighting — a dining table, a hallway, a front entry or a garden path — a few simple proportions make the difference between a light that feels considered and one that feels lost. Use these as a starting point, and always check the dimensions in the product details.
| Light | Size & position | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Pendants over a table or island | About ½–⅔ the table width; 75–85 cm above the surface | Over an island, allow roughly 60–75 cm between pendants |
| Chandeliers & ceiling lights | At least 210 cm clear above walkways | Over a dining table, choose around 30 cm narrower than the table |
| Interior wall sconces | Centre roughly 150–170 cm from the floor | Space 2–3 m apart along a hallway or wall |
| Bathroom & vanity lights | Either side of the mirror at eye level, or 190–200 cm above the floor | Choose IP44 or higher near water |
| Outdoor wall & entry lights | Fixture about ¼–⅓ the height of the door | Mount just above eye level; IP44+ for exposed walls |
| Path, garden & post lights | Space roughly 1.8–2.5 m apart | Stagger either side of a path for a softer, natural look |
| Floor & table lamps | Bottom of the shade near eye level when seated | Place slightly behind the shoulder for reading |
